mary linsmeier schools was founded by Mary Linsmeier on the belief that it is essential for teachers to interact with and guide children, always giving positive reinforcement and approval. It is our goal for each child to develop a love of learning by knowing that he/she can explore without fear of disapproval or failure. mary linsmeier lessons are self-correcting and teachers are trained to guide children to the right answer rather than calling attention to the incorrect response.

Daily activities are presented to help children learn to function as a group and yet allow for individualized development. These activities provide opportunities to develop:

  • A positive self image.
  • Social interaction.
  • Communication skills.
  • Gross and fine motor skills.
  • Creative expression.
  • Intellectual growth.
  • Cultural diversity.
40 years of experience

Our teachers offer a rich history of knowledge gained through education and experience. Their observations offer unique insight into preschool age children and early childhood education. Our teachers have come to recognize the eagerness of all preschool age children to learn everything new and fascinating. Preschoolers are willing to try and test roles and are constantly changing, reflecting the world around them. Most exciting, children have open minds unhindered by fears, opinions and prejudices. Take some time to speak with your child’s teacher and discover the wonderful insight they have to offer!

our learning never stops!

At mary linsmeier schools, we hire teachers with degrees and continue to train them in the mary linsmeier method of teaching. Continuing education includes instruction in the areas of child development, child guidance, building the child's self esteem, and teaching techniques as well as the use of special materials in conjunction with the linsmeier method. This is over and above any other educational courses they may have already taken. Equally important, our teachers realize the importance of being loving, nurturing and aware of each child's individual needs.
