At mary linsmeier schools, we understand how important the
role parents' play in the learning and development of a child.
yearly parent events
- mary linsmeier schools and Children's Edu-Care present a parent night which is
designed to give parents an overview of our entire program.
- Parent-teacher conferences are offered to give parents the opportunity
to ask questions, and make comments or suggestions. The child's teacher
has checklist reports and developmental progress records for parents
three times during the school year. Parents may ask for a conference
with a teacher any time they feel there is an immediate concern or
question. Parent's can talk to their child's teacher before or after
school to find out about their child's day.
- A parent-child evening allows enrolled children to bring their parents with them to school. Children may show parents their classroom and demonstrate their accomplishments.
- Each fall and spring we invite parents to the school for a social gathering. Often the children put on a short program. Opportunity is provided to relax and visit with the child's teacher and become acquainted with the other parents and their children.
how can I be involved?
Parents may offer to bring snacks, help with art projects,
or assist with special party days. We appreciate parents and their presence
in the classroom makes their child feel special. Parents are welcome to
visit our schools at any time. We invite parents to observe the children
in their learning and play environment.
